For Team Audi Sport’s second Dakar Rally, a new Audi RS Q e-tron will be taking part. The second development stage of the innovative prototype from the brand with the four rings includes optimized energy management of the electric drivetrain and its energy converter, improved aerodynamics and a lowered center of gravity, as well as a new sustainable advanced fuel that comes from waste and residuals that do not compete with food products. Three Audi RS Q e-tron entries will be competing in the 2023 Dakar Rally with the driver crews of Mattias Ekström/Emil Bergkvist, Stéphane Peterhansel/Edouard Boulanger and Carlos Sainz/Lucas Cruz.
