Spain has produced some of The Open’s most exciting, passionate and iconic players, adding to the Championship’s long and detailed legacy.

Despite being home to many quality golfers, only one Spanish player has ever lifted the Claret Jug - the irreplaceable Seve Ballesteros. Winning three times; in 1979, 1984 and 1988.

In modern times, Sergio Garcia impressed as a Low Amateur at The Open and has been pivotal in the conclusion of many Championship weekends.

We are taking this time to celebrate just some of the great talent that has originated in Spain, with this latest edition of ‘Open Around The World’
