Tom Watson | First and Last | The Open Championship
Tom Watson is one of the greatest players to ever grace The Open Championship. Winning the Claret Jug five times (1975, 1977, 1980, 1982 and 1983).
The American made his Open debut in 1975, winning in glorious fashion at Carnoustie. A near ever-present at the world's oldest golf tournament, Watson made 38 appearances in total between 1975 and 2015, missing only three Open Championships in that time.
We look back at Tom Watson's first Open appearance and remember his emotional farewell at St Andrews in his final Open appearance, with this new series “First and Last”.
