Subaru Impreza S5/S6 GC8 WRC Rally Car Tribute - 😍 Lovery Boxer Turbo Engine & Blow Off Valve Sound!

I wanted to pay homage to the legendary Subaru Impreza S5 / S6 GC8 WRC Rally Car, one of the queens of the unforgettable late 90s. One cannot remain indifferent to the sound of the Boxer Turbo engine and the whistle, similar to a twitter, coming from the Blow valve- Off. So I collected some video material accumulated in recent years following the San Marino Rally Legend. Right here, I was able to admire some prestigious examples such as those with the "T12 SRT" ex Richard Burns-Robert Reid chassis number 9, the "R19 WRC" ex Colin McRae − Nicky Grist chassis number 19 and the T1 SRT chassis 33. The cars you see they raced in the period 1997-2000 moves by the 2.0-litre boxer 4-cylinder EJ207 JDM engine coupled to an IHI RX turbo with a diameter of 62mm. The engine develops a power of 300Hp at 5,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 471nm at 4,000 rpm. Semi-automatic 6-speed manual gearbox with electronic control, four-wheel drive, two differentials, front and rear and a weight of 1,230 kg complete the technical picture.

Ho voluto rendere omaggio alla mitica Subaru Impreza S5/S6 GC8 WRC Rally Car, una delle regine degli indimenticabili fine anni 90. Non si può rimanere indifferenti dal suono del motore Boxer Turbo e dal fischio, simile ad un cinguettio, proveniente della valvola Blow-Off. Ho raccolto un po' di materiale video accumulato negli ultimi anni seguendo il Rally Legend di San Marino. Proprio qui ho potuto ammirare alcuni prestigiosi esemplari come quelli targati "T12 SRT" ex Richard Burns-Robert Reid telaio numero 9, la "R19 WRC" ex Colin McRae−Nicky Grist telaio numero 19 e la T1 SRT telaio 33. Le vetture che vedete hanno corso nel periodo 1997-2000 mosse dal motore EJ207 JDM 4 cilindri boxer da 2.0-Litri di cilindrata accoppiato ad un turbo IHI RX con un diametro di 62mm. Il propulsore sviluppa una potenza di 300Hp a 5.500 giri/min ed una coppia massima di 471nm a 4.000 giri/min. Cambio manuale semi-automatico a 6 rapporti a controllo elettronico, trazione integrale, 2 differenziali , anteriore e posteriore ed un peso di 1.230 Kg chiudono il quadro tecnico.
