The Padres became the fifth team in Major League history to hit grand slams in three straight games when Fernando Tatis Jr., Wil Myers and Manny Machado accomplished the feat from August 17-19, 2020. In addition to the new franchise record, San Diego is the first team to do so since the 2006 White Sox and most recent in the National League since the 1895 Cleveland Spiders.
