Roger Eno – Bells

The area in which I live is blessed with isolated medieval churches, many of which are open to those who wish for silence, such as myself. At least two churches have hand-pulled bells in a set of three. These play the first three notes of a major scale. I wanted a simple piece to appear and so added a limpid melody, a tune you think you could have heard before but have not.
