On 10 July 2018, Manchester City confirmed the signing of Riyad Mahrez on a five-year contract. The transfer fee of £60m made Mahrez the most expensive African footballer, and also Manchester City's most expensive signing to date.

With an amazing ability to carve open defences with his lightning pace and silky skills, Mahrez has become an integral part of Pep's side helping the team to lift the title in the 2018/19season whilst also contributing 14 goals in the Premier League so far!
