Renault R.S. 01 GT3 - Race Action & Fly-Bys at Paul Ricard Circuit - 500hp V6 Twin-Turbo Engine

I've filmed this Renault R.S. 01 GT3 in action during the ROSCAR Championnat race at the Paul Ricard circuit in Le Castellet, France. The version you see is a variant of the model used in the Renault Sport single-brand trophy and adopts the GT3 specifications. The power of the Nissan GT-R V6 Twin-Turbo engine, specifically the Nissan VR38DETT unit, goes from 560hp to 500hp while the maximum torque remains unchanged at 600Nm. The gearbox is a 7-speed Sadev sequential, and the brake system adopts cast iron and not carbon brake discs. The overall weight also increases by 125kg, again to comply with the GT3 regulation, stopping the balance needle at 1.270Kg. Performance remains high with over 300km/h top speed. Ho filmato questa Renault R.S. 01 GT3 in azione durante la gara del campionato ROSCAR sul circuito del Paul Ricard a Le Castellet, in Francia. La versione che vedete è una variante del modello impiegato nel trofeo monomarca Renault Sport inquanto adotta le specifiche per l'omologazione GT3. La potenza del motore V6 Twin-Turbo di provenienza Nissan GT-R, nello specifico l'unità Nissan VR38DETT passa da 560cv a 500cv mentre rimangono invariati i 600Nm di coppia massima. Il cambio è un sequenziale Sadev a 7 rapporti e l'impianto frenante adotta dischi freni in ghisa e non in carbonio. Anche il peso complessivo aumenta di 125kg, sempre per sottostare al regolamento GT3, fermando l'ago della bilancia a 1.270Kg. Restano elevate le prestazioni con oltre 300km/h di velocità massima.
