Lucia Bronzetti of Italy battled to her first singles title on the Hologic WTA Tour at the Grand Prix Son Altesse Royale La Princesse Lalla Meryem in Rabat!

The World No.102 defeated Rebecca Peterson and Tatjana Maria before dropping only four games total in her quarterfinal and semifinal wins over No.4 seed Alycia Parks and No.2 seed Sloane Stephens respectively.

But she was pushed all the way in the final by Julia Grabher, who was also seeking her first title on Tour, coming back from a break down at 3-1 in the third set to clinch the maiden trophy.
