Although Opposite Spiker Malwina Smarzek made her debut with Poland's national team in 2014, at the tender age of 18, her first big bang was surely at the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Nations League and the 2019 edition that followed, when she took the world by storm with her incredible high-scoring performances. In addition to her VNL feats, Smarzek was also in top-scoring form at the qualifiers for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games - though it was just not enough to see Poland through from either the Intercontinental or the European qualifiers.
