Pirates Put Up Three-Run Inning in Comeback Win | Pirates vs. Cubs (6/29/23)

The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the San Diego Padres 5-4 at home on Thursday afternoon. Nick Gonzales hit a sac fly to get the Buccos on the scoreboard in the fourth inning. Back-to- back RBI singles were hit by Henry Davis and Jack Suwinski in the seventh inning giving the Bucs the 5-4 victory. David Bednar recorded his 16th career save after notching three strikeouts in 1.1 innings pitched. The Pirates put up 10 hits coming from Davis (3), Andrew McCutchen (2), Carlos Santana (2), Jared Triolo (2), and Suwinski.
