You can see the extraordinary Peugeot 905 EVO 1 Bis, Group C car, one of two built for the 1992 season, EV16 chassis. We are at the 2019 Dix Mille Tour at Paul Ricard circuit, Le Castellet, France. Brought to the race by the Frenchman Erik Maris takes part in the Group C Racing Championship races. This model deployed by the official Peugeot Talbot Sport team finished third at the 1992 24h Le Mans driven by Philippe Alliot, Mauro Baldi and Jean-Pierre Jabouille and ranked first in the races at Donnington Park (UK) and Magny Cours ( FR). In 1993 at the 24h of Le Mans during the tests suffered an accident and didn't take part in the race. After several years in England, the 905 returned to France to the care of Team Equipe Europe. The prototype in itself is extraordinary; mounts a 3.5-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine built with Formula 1 specifications and develop a variable power from 620 to 680hp depending on the configurations, capable of reaching 12,500 rpm. The power unit later was also used on the 1994 McLaren MP4/9 f1 single-seater. The carbon-fibre monocoque chassis, as well as the bodywork, were made by the French aviation industry Dassault Aviation. We find a 6-speed mechanical gearbox, independent suspension with overlapping triangles, the braking system with discs in composite material, all for a car weight of 755 Kg. In total, the 7 Peugeot 905 cars during the competitive period participated in 17 races with nine wins, nine pole positions, seven fastest laps, one constructors' championship and one driver' championship.
I have to thank my friend and Youtuber @19Bozzy92 with whom I collaborated to realise this video. Enjoy! 😉

Buona visione! 😉
