NEW 2024 Lamborghini SC63 LMDh Hypercar Testing at Imola Circuit - V8 Twin-Turbo Engine Sound 🔉

Finally, here we are; Lamborghini has begun the long period of testing on the new SC63 LMDh, which in 2024 will take part in the WEC endurance world championship. After a first static presentation in the world preview at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, it's time to get on track for the "refinement" work and define all the aspects leading the car to homologation and participation in the 2024 competitions. A welcome surprise of Imola allowed us to hear the sound of the 3.8-Liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which, in combination with the electric module, develops 680 hp and is coupled to the seven-speed X-Trac sequential gearbox. With a carbon fibre monocoque chassis produced by Ligier and the external body panels, also in carbon, the car weighs only 1,090 kg. At the wheel for these tests, we find two of the six official drivers, Andrea Caldarelli and Mirko Bortolotti. Enjoy! 😉

Finalmente ci siamo, la Lamborghini ha iniziato il lungo periodo di test sulla nuova SC63 LMDh che nel 2024 prenderà parte al campionato del mondo endurance WEC. Dopo una prima presentazione statica in anteprima mondiale al Goodwood Festival of Speed è ora tempo di scendere in pista per il lavoro di "sgossatura" e per definire tutti gli aspetti che porteranno la vettura all'omologazione ed alla partecipazione nelle competizioni del 2024. Una gradita sopresa quella di Imola che ci ha permesso di sentire il suono del motore V8 da 3.8-Litri twin-turbo che in abbinamento al modulo elettrico sviluppa 680 hp ed è accoppiato al cambio sequenziale X-Trac a sette rapporti. Con un telaio monoscocca in fibra di carbonio prodotto da Ligier ed i pannelli esterni della carrozzeria, anch'essi in carbonio la vettura pesa solamente 1.090 Kg. Al volante per questi test troviamo due dei sei piloti ufficiali, Andrea Caldarelli e Mirko Bortolotti. Buona visione! 😉
