PROJECT 'REVIBE'' 는
데뷔 20주년을 앞두고 그동안 많이 불리고
사랑 받은 바이브(VIBE)의 노래들을
최고 아티스트들의 목소리로 재해석하는
콜라보레이션 프로젝트입니다.

'REVIBE'는
그룹 이름 VIBE에 다시(RE)를 조합해 만든
프로젝트 이름으로 'VIBE를 다시 노래하다' 의미와
Revive(되살아나다)에 바이브(느낌, 분위기)를 더해
바이브(VIBE)의 노래를 트렌디 하게 바꿔
‘분위기(VIBE)로 새롭게 발산하다’ 라는
두가지 의미을 담고 있습니다.

'사랑하는 척 (Lying)’

바이브(VIBE)의 데뷔 20주년을 기념한 ‘REVIBE’의 마지막 노래는
대한민국 발라드 음악의 대표 그룹이자 오열 감성을 품은
‘바이브(VIBE)’와 고음의 여왕으로 불리며 전세계를 놀라게 한
믿고 듣는 글로벌 디바 ‘소향’이 완성했다.

‘사랑하는 척’은 바이브(VIBE)의 류재현이 프로듀서로 참여해
콘서트의 라이브 느낌을 최대한 살려 살아있는 현장감을
담아보고자 한 곡으로 솔직한 감정을 깊숙이 간직한 채
헤어지는 순간까지 사랑하는 척 외면해야만 하는
우리 모두를 위한 이야기를 감성으로 담았다.

헤어지는 순간까지 사랑하는 척을 했던 건
너였을까 나였을까 아니면 그때의 우리였을까…




The ‘PROJECT REVIBE’ is
a collaboration project to reinterpret the beloved songs of VIBE
with the voice of today’s best artists,
in celebration of the group’s 20th anniversary in 2022.

The project ‘REVIBE’ is a name derived from the word ‘Revive’,
in which ‘RE’ refers to ‘again’, and ‘VIBE’ to imply the ‘singing VIBE again’
and ‘diverging the VIBE(mood), which has been regenerated with a new and trendy style’.

VIBE, SOHYANG ‘Lying’


The last song of ‘REVIBE’ commemorating the 20th debut anniversary of VIBE
was completed by ‘VIBE’ who represents the K-Ballad scene
and who sings with sorrowful voice, and ‘SOHYANG’ the global diva
who amazed the world being known as the queen of high note.


The song ‘Lying’ is a song in which RYU JAEHYUN of VIBE has joined as a producer
and a song that attempts to embrace the live mood of concert.
The song contains a story of a couple who had to break up,
and who, even at the last moment, do not reveal their honest feelings,
which, all of us, must have experienced of pretending to love, and yet to deny it.

Could it have been you, or I, or us, back then
who had to pretend we were still in love, even at the moment of falling apart…
