Ligier JSP 320 & JSP3 LMP3 Sport Prototypes at Monza Circuit - 460Hp 5.6-Litre Nissan VK56 V8 Engine

In this video, you can see the recent evolution of Ligier's LMP3 class Sport Prototype cars. With dark livery, we have the JSP3 model of the Monza Garage Team, while the yellow/green livery is the JSP 320 model of the Inter Europol Competition Team. We are on the Monza circuit during a day of testing for racing cars organized by Kateyama. These prototypes are very light, around 950 kg in total weight, built around a frame and a monocoque passenger cell in carbon, and the bodywork is in composite material. Both cars use a 5.6-litre naturally aspirated Nissan V8 engine, initials VK56 for the JSP 320 and VK50 for the JSP3, capable of delivering 460Hp and 420Hp, respectively. They are driven by an Xtrac 1152 6-speed semi-automatic sequential gearbox with paddles on the steering wheel. The suspensions are double wishbone front and rear with a push-rod system and adjustable shock absorbers. It's always lovely to see LMP3 cars on the fast Monza circuit where they can push their engines to the max and take advantage of the aerodynamics carefully designed to be stable on the straights and very fast when entering and cornering.

In questo video potete vedere la recente evoluzione delle vetture Sport Prototipo classe LMP3 di Ligier. Con livrea scura abbiamo il modello JSP3 del Team Monza Garage mentre il livea giallo/verde il modello JSP 320 del Team Inter Europol Competition. Ci troviamo sul circuito di Monza durante una giornata di test per vetture racing organizzata da Kateyama. Queste prototipi sono molto leggeri, circa 950Kg di peso complessivo e sono costruiti attorno ad un telaio ed una cellula abitacolo monoscocca in carbonio, così come la carrozzeria è in materiale composito. Entrambe le vetture adottano un motore Nissan V8 da 5.6-Litri aspirato, sigla VK56 per la JSP 320 e VK50 per la JSP3 in grado di erogare sipettivamente 460Hp e 420Hp. A muoverli ci pensa un cambio sequenziale semiautomatico a 6 marce Xtrac 1152 con palette al volante. Le sospensioni sono a doppio braccio oscillante all'anteriore ed al posteriore con sistema push-rod ed ammortizzatori regolabili. E' sempre bello vedere vetture LMP3 sul veloce circuito di Monza dove possono spingere al massimo i propulsori e sfruttare l'aerodinamica accuratamente studiata per essere stabili sui rettilinei e rapidissime nell'inserimento e percorrenza di curva.
