Kim Ha-seong, Premier12 All World shortstop, inks deal with San Diego Padres

Korean shortstop Kim Ha-seong earned WBSC Premier12 2019 All-World Team honours, helping his team to win the silver medal and clinch a spot in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Kim committed just one error in eight games in the Premier12, while going 9-for-27 (.333) at the plate, including a home run against Japan's Shun Yamaguchi in the final of the elite global tournament.

The 25-year-old shortstop will play the next season in the Major League Baseball (MLB) for the San Diego Padres.
