Ke’Bryan Hayes and Liover Peguero Homer in Win | Pirates vs. Royals Highlights (8/29/23)

The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Kansas City Royals 6-3 at Kauffman Stadium on August 29, 2023. A Ke’Bryan Hayes 2-run home run brought Liover Peguero home which gave the Pirates their first lead of the night, 2-1. Peguero then hit a 3-run blast, scoring Endy Rodriguez and Joshua Palacios to make it 5-1. The scoring wrapped up in the ninth with an RBI from Ji Hwan Bae which scored Jack Suwinski for a 6-3 final. Colin Selby opened up with two perfect innings pitched and Luis Ortiz allowed just one run and tallied five strikeouts in five innings pitched.
