The European Tour returns from the holiday break and begins a new decade at the South African Open hosted by the city of Johannesburg. Home star Louis Oosthuizen returns to defend his title knowing the tournament has a rich history of home winners. Since becoming a European Tour event in 1997, 13 of the 23 editions of the South African Open have been won by South Africans. For almost a decade, South African players kept the crown on home-soil, winning eight consecutive editions of the tournament between 2002 and 2008. Who will take the top spot in Johannesburg this year?
