The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 7-6 at PNC Park on Saturday night. Liover Peguero homered his second of the season to get the Pirates on the board first in the third inning. In the fourth inning, Endy Rodriguez (double) and Peguero (single) brought two runs in to make it 4-3. Rodriguez then cleared the bases with a 3-run triple in the fifth inning to take a 6-4 lead. Later in the fifth, Alika Williams recorded his first hit and RBI, bringing the score to 7-4. David Bednar closed out the game to pick up his 21st save of the season.
