Elfyn Evans & 2022 Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 Show 💥 - Donuts & Burnouts at 2023 Goodwood Festival (FOS)

I have to say that Toyota attended the 2023 edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed with many beautiful racing cars. The GR Yaris Rally1 Hybrid could not be missing, with which the Japanese manufacturer won the constructors' rally world championship in 2022. At the wheel is Elfyn Evans, accompanied by navigator Scott Martin, both part of the official team of drivers as the duo Sébastien Ogier/Benjamin Veillas and Kalle Rovanperä/Jonne Halttunen. Evans entertained the spectators with some very consistent and fast runs, not forgetting to spin the car like a top, one of the most fun things a rally car can do. This GR Yaris Rally1 is equipped with two engines, the internal combustion four-cylinder 1.6-litre direct injection engine capable of developing 375 Hp (280 kW) and the 100 kW (134 HP) electric one for a combined power of 378 kW (506 hp). Finally, we find a 5-speed semi-automatic sequential gearbox with front engagement and permanent four-wheel drive, all for a car weight of 1,260 kg. Devo dire che Toyota ha partecipato all'edizione 2023 del Goodwood Festival of Speed con molte belle auto da corsa. Ovviamente non poteva mancare la GR Yaris Rally1 Hybrid con cui il costruttore Giapponese si è aggiudicato il campionato del mondo rally costruttori nel 2022. Al volante Elfyn Evans accompagnato dal navigatore Scott Martin, entrambi parte della squadra ufficiale dei piloti assieme alle coppie Sébastien Ogier/Benjamin Veillas e Kalle Rovanperä/Jonne Halttunen. Evans ha divertito il pubblico con alcune run molto consitenti e veloci, senza dimenticare di far girare l'auto come una trottola, una delle cose più divertenti che un'auto da rally può fare. Questa GR Yaris Rally1 è dotata di due motori, quello endotermico quattro cilindri da 1,6 litri iniezione diretta capace di sviluppare 375 Hp (280 kW) e quello elettrico da 100 kW (134 HP) per una potenza combinata di 378 kW (506 Hp). Troviamo infine un cambio semiautomatico sequenziale con innesti frontali a 5 rapporti e trazione integrale permanente, il tutto per un peso vettura di 1.260 Kg.
