Don't Mess With This Volleyball Duo - HERE'S WHY !!! Yūki Ishikawa (石川祐希, Ishikawa Yūki, born 11 December 1995) is a Japanese male professional volleyball player from Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture.

Ishikawa is the first volleyball player to have a wax figure in Japan.[1] Currently, his wax figure is displayed at Madame Tussauds Tokyo.[2]

Ishikawa was named "Best outside spiker" award at the FIVB World Cup (2015, 2019), FIVB Nations League (2023), Asian Championship (2017, 2019, 2021), as well as "Most valuable player" award at the Asian Championship (2017, 2023).

As of April 2021, Ishikawa is the captain of the Japan men's national volleyball team, and plays as an outside hitter. He currently plays in the Italian Volleyball League for Allianz Milano.

In 2021, Ishikawa became the captain of the Japan men's national volleyball team,[28] and was assigned to lead the team at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.[29] The Japanese team finished in 7th place after losing to the Brazil team with a set count 0–3 in the quarterfinals.[30] In September 2021, he led the team to win the silver medal at the 2021 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship, and won the "Best outside spiker" award as a captain of the senior national team.

In July 2023, Ishikawa and the Japanese team won bronze medal at the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League with a set count 3–2 against the Italy team.[32] He also won the "Best outside spiker" award as a captain of the senior national team.

Ran Takahashi (髙橋 藍 or たかはしらん, Takahashi Ran, born 2 September 2001) is a Japanese male volleyball player and an Olympian. He plays as an Outside Hitter for Nippon Sport Science University's club,[1] Japan men's national volleyball team and Vero Volley Monza.

On December 19, he debuted in the highest Italian league as a substitute in the third set against Modena Volley.

Pallavolo Padova announced that Ran has renewed his contract with the club for Season 2022-2023.[17] He was nominated MVP of the match against Valsa Group Modena for the first time in Italian league.

Vero Volley Monza revealed that they have signed with Ran Takahashi for Season 2023–2024.
