Man City completed their £24m transfer of Spain international winger David Silva from Valencia in the summer of 2010.

Upon joining City, Silva, now 34, said of his first season's hopes "I will be happy if at the end we are in the Champions League - or if we win a trophy," "My first target is to get into the team".

Well he's certainly made his mark at this club!
