Cubs Pitcher Jordan Wicks is "Coming for the Whole Damn Thing" | On Deck

Born and raised in Conway, Arkansas, Jordan was a two-sport athlete at Conway High School. He earned a scholarship to Kansas State University to play college baseball. During his tenure at KSU, Jordan received several accolades, including Big 12 Freshman of the Year, All-Big 12 First Team and All-American Third Team. Jordan was drafted by the Cubs in the first round of the 2021 MLB draft and was called up to the big leagues on August 26, 2023. He ended his '23 campaign with a 4-1 record, 4.41 ERA and 24 strikeouts.
