No.2 seed Jelena Ostapenko of Latvia claimed her first title of the year at the Rothesay Classic in Birmingham, defeating top-seeded Barbora Krejcikova in the final!

The 2017 Roland-Garros champion also got past Linda Noskova, Venus Williams, Magdalena Frech, and No.4 seed Anastasia Potapova to secure her sixth career trophy on the Hologic WTA Tour.
