I've got a little box
With all our memories through the years
I'll start with this old picture
Of us, dancing after 6 beers
And this is just a rock
That we collected from a beach
You told me you were a swimming champion
Then almost drowned in the flat sea
And here's an old CD
That has done too many rounds
I gave you in the hospital
To help you heal with the sound
And here's an old fridge magnet
From a trip we took one day
The kind we buy for friends
And can never give away
Who would have thought
Our life together could
fit so well in a box
If life's a movie
There's nothing I'd rather do
Then sit and wait for

And look at this plane ticket
From when we lived so far apart
Two lovers on a screen
Sending kisses in the dark
And here's a list of 100 movies
We should watch before we die
But we stopped at 99
Cause we wanted to survive
And here's that old red beanie
That violates all good taste laws
You thought that I would look cooler
Made me look like Santa Claus
Who would have thought
Our life together could
