1987 Argo JM19 C Group C2, Speedy Livery - OnBoard, FlatOut & Race Actions at Monza Historic 2020

I enjoyed filming this rare Argo JM19 C from 1987, a Group C classes C2 sports prototype car that took part in its category races during the Monza Historic 2020 organized by Peter Auto. I have to thank the pilots Marco Fumagalli and Stefano Zerbi for their extreme kindness towards us by sending some excellent OnBoards that I used together with the external videos. The company was founded in the 80s in England by Swiss designer Jo Marquart and the English mechanic Nick Jordan. It wasn't easy to trace the history of this car; from the research, it should be the chassis number 129 that ran the 500Km of Monza in 1992. The drivers were Coyne (GB) and Georg Paulin (CH) of the Geepee Argo Cars team. The car, completely blue, had the Panolin Oils sponsor. It has undergone a profound restoration in recent years and we see now in its current state with Speedy livery identical to the 124 chassis car that raced with the French MT Sport Racing team. Personally, I find it very beautiful. The engine is a Ford-Cosworth DFL 90° naturally aspirated V8 unit, which should be 3.2-Liters, it was practically the same units used by all the cars in the C2 class capable of developing 465hp at 9,500 rpm. Write to me If I have written inaccuracies, it's not easy to search for the history of cars like this. Ho avuto il piacere di filmare questa rara Argo JM19 C del 1987, vettura sport prototipo Gruppo C classes C2 che ha preso parte alle gare di categoria durante il Monza Historic 2020 organizzato da Peter Auto. Devo ringraziare i piloti Marco Fumagalli e Stefano Zerbi per la loro estrema gentilezza nei nostri confronti avendoci inviato degli ottimi OnBoard che ho utilizzato assieme ai filmati esterni. L'azienda è stata fondata negli anni 80 in Inghilterra dal designer svizzero Jo Marquart e dal meccanico inglese Nick Jordan. Non è stato facile risalire alla storia di questa vettura, dalle ricerche effettuate dovrebbe trattarsi del telaio numero 129 che corse la 500Km di Monza nel 1992. All'epoca i piloti erano Coyne (GB) e Georg Paulin (CH) del team Geepee Argo Cars e l'auto, completamente blu, aveva lo sponsor della Panolin Oils. In tempi recenti ha subito un profondo restauro e la vediamo nello stato attuale con livrea Speedy identica alla vettura telaio 124 che corse con i francesi della MT Sport Racing. Personalmente la trovo molto bella. Il propulsore è un Ford-Corworth DFL V8 90° aspirato da 3.2-Litri, in quegli anni era praticamente la power unit scelta ed impiegata da tutte le vetture in classe C2 capace di sviluppare 465cv a 9.500 giri/min. Se ho scritto inesattezze scrivetemi, non è facile ricercare la storia di auto poco conosciute come questa.
