A 21-year old Garbiñe Muguruza overpowered Simona Halep in two sets, decisively breaking the Romanian's resistance in an epic 7th game. Halep defended 5 break points in the game before finally succumbing. Despite winning the rubber, Spain eventually lost this 2015 World Group II tie, as Romania went on to make a memorable comeback and triumph 3-2.
